 Our grommet slings with DC guard are made in an endless configuration using Samson AmSteel® Blue rope and DC guard over the entire body making it an eye & eye style heavy lifting sling. DC Guard is a tightly braided cover construction of Dyneema® fiber that is spliced onto the strength member to protect it from wear and abrasion in specific areas. Designed for use in applications like tug operations, where frequent handling and use put a premium on rope protection and resistance to snagging. DC Guard provides maximum protection for working ropes. AmSteel®Blue is a torque-free, 12-strand single braid that yields the maximum in strength to-weight ratio and, size-for-size, is the same strength as steel—yet it floats. AmSteel®Blue is an excellent wire rope replacement with extremely low stretch, and superior flex fatigue and wear resistance.  Both eyes are spliced 8" DC Gard covered.
